About Grape
grape is one of the most widely known fruits which has been yielded since ancient time . some believe in that grape used to grow naturally in large areas in forest . in the time when even corns were not produced and used yet . and some others estimate its history as far back as 6000 or 7000 years ago . unfortunately , the origin of grape is not clearly found out in , Iran , but its plantation practically goes back to 2000 BC .
Grape properties :
Compared with the king of the fruits – apple it can be called the most useful fruit .
it provided the necessary heat , and from the nutrition point of view , one kilo of grape equals one kilo of milk .
it is so rich with essential elements , that can be considered a natural pharmacy .

kashmars grape :
with various climatic conditions, kashmar includes more than 17 garden productions resulted from yielding water & dry farming has the most cultivable fields and the most agricultural productions in the wide khorasan province.
Among the different agricultural productions , vineyards are 8400 acres wide and they have an average production a bout 30 tons in each acre , so it has a specific position in farming and economics of kashmar the average in each acre of vineyards in kashmar equals the highest amount of production all around the country , while this average for the other areas is just 15 (tons) in each acre Also.
it is admirable to mention that experienced gardeners in kashmar produce up to 70 (tons) in each acre and this is the reason why we can call kashmarian gardeners as the best grape growers of the country the reason can be explored in the way they produce the best grapes with good quality and convert it to raisin which increases the value of grapes for at least %25 where lacking instruments and advanced mechanism is felt. the general way of cultivating grapes is the traditional way.
in which the grape clusters don’t touch the soil watered in the shape of stream and mound . the annual production of grape in kashmar is about 200000 tons , which is a high average and it must also be noticed that the Asgari and paykani (Arrow-headed ) Grapes are so Important.
more than 22 kinds of grape are in kashmar the most widely know ones are : Asgari , paykani , yaghuti , lael , sabzeh-mal , sepid-dally , sourak , sahebi , dyvanehand rezghi. the rape and fresh grapes are exported to other cities , but a large amount of it is prepared to make in to raisin (green , sunny , tayfee , californi , maviz , and the most important golden raisin).
